First Check
The first thing you must do when you open the box is to check everything. In the Assembly Guide there is a Bill Of Materials (BOM). Check that all items in the box is present according to the BOM.
Before Assembly
Before gluing parts together you should verify that you are working with the correct parts. Very often, model builders assume that they have the correct parts and start gluing. And then it is to late.
An old saying: You can think twice but only cut once!
Painting
Basicly there are to different types of paint: Acrylics and Enamels. Which type you prefer depend on your previous experience etc. Acrylics are today possible to use for sailing model boats. Acrylics are more enviroment friendly than Enamels.
The best results are achieved by using an airbrush. However, you can make a good result if you are using a high quality brush.
